Use Tabelog 📊 for restaurant reviews in Japan—locals trust it more than Google Reviews.
- ⭐ 3.5+ = Decent
- 🌟 3.7+ = Amazing
- 🔥 4.0+ = Rare, especially under ¥20,000/person
When in doubt, ask the waiter: 「おすすめはなんですか?」(Osusume wa nan desu ka?) = What do you recommend? 🤔
